Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Has Expressed HIs Worries About The Deadlock Between Federal Government And The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU)

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has expressed worry over the lingering industrial impasse between the Federal Government and labour unions in critical sectors of the country.

In particular, the former Vice President expressed his worry about the “deadlock between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which is altering the future of our youths and putting families under undue pressure.”
Atiku said he had already “set out templates to handle all related issues and ensure an end to incessant labour crisis, ensure industrial harmony and greater productivity in all sectors, immediately he is elected into office as President.”

The Waziri of Adamawa’s worries were conveyed by the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation and was contained in a statement signed by the party’s spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, yesterday.officialogomedia.blogspot.com
The statement reads, “Knowing the importance of education and youth development to national cohesion, stability, development and economic prosperity, Atiku Abubakar has already articulated a clear and practical roadmap towards resolving all issues hampering education in Nigeria in his policy document, which embodies the aspiration and wishes of all Nigerians in their overall productive ventures.

“Our candidate has made ample provisions for enhanced welfare packages, research grants, better teaching and learning environment as well as a strong synergy between the union and government towards a harmonious working environment.

“We, therefore, urge Nigerians not to despair but to continue to rally behind Atiku Abubakar in the all-important mission of rescuing our nation from the misrule of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, which has shown gross incompetence and insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians.”

Intimate Photos Of Simi And Adekunle Gold At Here Live Concert In Lagos

For a while now, many have wondered who possibly could be the heartthrob of Nigerian singing sensation, Simi – the debate always had two Nigerian male entertainers in light, Falz and Adekunle Gold.officialogomedia.blogspot.com
It was hard to tell as neither of the three ever publicly declared if they were an item and this had fans speculating and match making the male entertainers with the songstress.

Well, we’re sorry to break it to you guys who felt the best pair would be that of Simi and Falz as the former has only but moments ago, taken to her page to share a quite intimate photo of herself and the “Ire” crooner as they performed at her “Live In Lagos” concert.
The lovely shared a photo of herself with AG with an interesting caption – hours ago, we would have seen this as just ‘normal love’ the songstress was giving to AG but what followed after the post is what changed our minds… Simi captioned the first photo,
God knew what He was doing when our paths crossed. Ur support is immense; ur love is overwhelming in the best way. Thank you Champ

It was not until moments later Simi gave us the shocker of the month and we must say, we’re breathtaken!!! She shared a photo of the both of them on stage as AG planted a kiss on her lips while they held each other in a warm embrace.
Knowing that her fans would definitely react to the photo as her finally admitting to the initial rumours, she still subtly debunks the speculations as she blames the photographer for taking the photo from a rather questionable angle.
She wrote,
Such an awkward picture 😩
@thelexash what isss you doing???
.
Pls stop shouting finally, iz the angle of the picture 😂😂😂

Minister Of Power Housing Babatunde Fashola SAN Blames PDP For Abandoned Federal Government Projects

The Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola SAN, on Monday blamed the Peoples Democratic Party for abandoned Federal Government projects across the country.

He stated this while inspecting the building project of the Federal Secretariat, Awka, Anambra State.officialogomedia.blogspot.com

He described corruption during the PDP era as monumental, adding, “They looted our collective destiny, prospects, jobs and so on.

“That’s why the masses are suffering today. That’s why there are no jobs. But we (APC) are trying to bring back smiles on the faces of Nigerians.”

He said the 18-kilometre Umunya axis of the Onitsha/Enugu Expressway would be completed in May 2019, while the Federal Secretariat,  Awka, the state capital, would  be completed in the first quarter of next year.

Fashola said the President Muhammadu Buhari government inherited those projects because past governments failed to complete them as a result of corruption.

“They awarded the contract without paying contractors and when you don’t pay contractors, you create problems down the labour ladder.
“For instance, the contract for this federal secretariat was awarded in 2012 by the previous administration without making funds available for its completion. If the money meant for it was not stolen, it would have been completed before now.

“We are bringing back what was denied the people in the past to them; that’s the difference between a development administration and a corrupt regime”, the minister stated.
